Flannery Animal Hospital aids in Japan disaster relief

Flannery Animal Hospital has connected with World Vets, an international aid organization for animals, to make a donation that will assist with disaster relief efforts in Japan. Their donation of collapsible crates will aid World Vets in their effort to help pets left injured and homeless in the wake of the earthquake and resulting tsunami that occurred in Japan earlier this month.

Dr. Frank Puccio, owner of Flannery Animal Hospital commented, “Our hearts go out to the devastated people and animals of Japan. We feel compelled to extend whatever help we can to assist the many orphaned, sick, injured and malnourished animals suffering through this disaster. May each effort contribute to the much needed healing of a wounded nation.”

If you, like Flannery Animal Hospital, want to help with the animal rescue effort in Japan, monetary donations are being accepted and can be sent to World Vets, 802 1st Ave N, Fargo ND 58102.
