Some common allergy symptoms include:
In-House Microscopic Cytology
Our In-House Laboratory uses Microscopic Cytology as another extremely useful test to diagnose dermatology issues. Flannery Animal Hospital performs both ear and skin cytology to aid us in the diagnosis and treatment of allergies as well as other diseases of the skin, ear, mouth, hair and nails.
In-House Fungal Assay
Another common skin issue are fungal infections such as ringworm. In order to detect the presence of fungi, Flannery Animal Hospital will perform a Fungal Assay. All that is needed for this test are a few samples of hair. The controlled environment of our in-house laboratory allows for a more accurate result.
