Dr. Jay Stonefield joined Flannery Animal Hospital in 1997. He received his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Cornell University in 1993, and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Dr. Stonefield has a special interest in both soft tissue and laparoscopic surgery as well as weight management. He is a member of the AVMA, AAHA, NYSVMS, and the HVVMS. His hobbies include snowboarding, tennis and keeping his toddler safe from self inflicted injuries. He is also an avid Yankees fan. When Dr. Stonefield is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife, Christine, daughter, Emma and son Benjamin.
