Dr. Stitzel was born and raised in Melbourne, FL. She always admired her father, who was a veterinarian, and wanted to follow in his footsteps. Dr. Stitzel attended the University of Florida and received her bachelors of science in physiology and kinesiology. She then attended Ross University College of Veterinary Medicine for her doctorate degree and Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine for clinical training. She graduated with high honors in 2016, and followed with an internship at a referral hospital in Indian Harbor Beach, FL. Dr. Stitzel relocated to the Hudson Valley with her fiance, who is currently a pilot at the New York National Guard Base at Stewart. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking/playing ball with her dog Pippa, cooking, walking through Adam’s gardening section, and spending time with her fiance, family, and friends.
